Meet the Doctors of North Ryde Family Medical Practice

Dr Manzoor Peerzada

MBBS, FRACGP, Cert.Occ.Med, Grad.Occ.Hlth, ACCAM

Dr Manzoor Peerzada is a specialist General Practitioner with Fellowship from RACGP. He is also an Occupational Medical Practitioner with post graduate training from Monash University. Dr Peerzada is passionate about preventative aspects of medicine and utilises his experience and skills to help people remain healthy while working. Dr Peerzada is an injury management consultant who utilises personal care and preventative strategies to ensure businesses minimise workplace risks and avoid distressing outcomes.

Dr Peerzada has interest and experience in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Occupational & Travel Medicine (including Vaccinations). He has special interest and skills in promoting and managing Men’s health. Dr Peerzada is CASA approved Authorised Aviation Medical examiner and Rail Board Approved Authorised Rail Medical examiner. Contrary to the usual misconception about GPs, Dr Peerzada would be happy to write reports and filling out forms, be it for insurance purpose or for any other organisations.

Dr Peerzada has been practising Medicine for over 20 years and understands the work life balance very well. He has interest in motorsports and even more in newer “Dope Tech” but still socialises the “old fashion” way. You can still google him though! A family man, attentive, honest, man of faith who avoids shortcuts.

Dr. Marzanah Parvin

MBBS (University of Newcastle), FRACGP, DCH

Dr Parvin joined NRFMP in August 2020. Dr Parvin studied medicine at University of Newcastle then went on to complete internship and residency at Blacktown/Mt Druitt Network. She has also worked at Westmead Hospital and Bathurst Hospital during my residency year. Dr Parvin subsequently started general practice training in 2017 and trained/worked in a variety of different clinics across the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney regions. Dr Parvin’s clinical interests include Women’s health and family planning, paediatrics, preventative care, chronic disease management and minor procedures.

Dr Parvin will consult on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Dr. Mary Yee (nee Wang)


Dr Yee (nee Wang) has a background in both pharmacy and medicine, having completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours), and then going on to continue her studies at University of Sydney in Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery. She is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Since 2016, Dr Yee has trained and worked in a diverse range of clinics and communities both in Sydney and the Central/Mid North Coast. Her particular interests include preventive care, general internal medicine, skin cancer and minor procedures. She has also had a lot of experience in paediatric medicine and women’s health.

Dr Yee is fluent in English and Mandarin. In her spare times, she enjoys sports such as jogging and playing badminton, exploring the outdoors, trying out new restaurants and cafes, and cooking.

Dr Trevor Hunter

MBBS (Hons), MRCP (UK), Dip. CH (Lond), Dip. Obst. RACOG

Dr Hunter has practised at NRFMP since 1989, and has particular interests in paediatrics, youth counselling, preventive care, and minor surgery.  A keen diver himself, he performs diving medical examinations.  He is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays

Dr John Lee


Dr Lee joined the practice in 1998.  His interests are general internal medicine (cardiology, asthma, diabetes), minor surgery / procedures / cryotherapy, paediatrics & geriatrics.  He also speaks some Cantonese. Dr Lee is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,  Friday and some Saturdays.

Dr Patricia Burke

MBBS (Hons)

Dr Burke has retired from regular general practice. Dr Burke is currently assisting with the Covid-19 Vaccination program at NRFMP.

Dr Linda Calabresi


Dr Calabresi commenced part-time at Cox’s Rd in 2014. She currently works Mondays, Wednesdays & participates in a Saturday rotation
